Quartz micro cuvettes with 10 mm path and reduced sample volume (350–1750 µL) in two-way and four-way configurations.
When sample volume is limited, Scuvette's quartz micro cuvettes deliver full 10 mm path length performance with as little as 350–1,750 µL. Available in two-way and four-way (two or four polished windows) configurations, these reduced-volume cells are precision-made from JGS1 fused silica for >83% transmittance across 200–2,500 nm — ideal for DNA, RNA, protein and precious-sample quantification.
Choose the volume that matches your assay: 350 µL, 700 µL, 1,050 µL, 1,400 µL and 1,750 µL models, each with a centered aperture for reliable beam alignment. Need even lower volumes? Our sub-micro cells go down to 18 µL. For fluorescence work, pair with a 4-window fluorescence cuvette.
Slit-width configurable micro cells with PTFE stopper — 20 models across two-way and four-way window configurations, five slit widths (1–5 mm) and two optical grades (Ordinary >80% T, High transmission >83% T). Volume scales linearly with slit: 350 µL × slit (mm), e.g. 5 mm slit = 1,750 µL.
Fully light-blocking all-black quartz micro cuvettes with centered aperture (8.5–20 mm center height) in two-way and four-way configurations, 50–200 µL volume. Precision JGS1 fused silica, >80% transmittance, 200–2500 nm.
10 mm black-wall quartz micro cuvettes with configurable slit widths (1–5 mm) and clear optical path; light-blocking walls reduce stray light. Volume scales 350 µL × slit (mm), e.g. 5 mm slit = 1,750 µL. JGS1 fused silica, >80% T, 200–2500 nm.
A reduced-volume cell (typically about 50–100 µL working volume) for precious or limited samples, with the same 10 mm path and 12.5 mm width. Ultra-micro cells.
Ultra-micro (submicro) goes lower, down to about 35 µL, using a reduced window; micro holds about 100 µL. Ultra-micro.
They use the standard 12.5 mm wide format, so they fit normal holders; some have a raised base or mask for the reduced window. Size chart.
Yes — quartz for UV; required for UV A280 / nucleic-acid assays on small samples. Quartz vs glass.
When sample is limited (clinical, fractionated, expensive reagents) and you cannot fill a 3.5 mL cell. DNA/RNA quantification.
Yes — screw-cap micro cells seal against evaporation for small-volume kinetics. Screw-cap micro cuvettes.
Fill gently, tap to release bubbles, and keep the optical window below the meniscus. Troubleshooting guide.
