What material are your cuvettes made of?
Most of our spectrophotometer cuvettes are made from high-purity fused silica (JGS1 grade) or optical glass. Fused silica offers excellent UV transmission down to ~190 nm, while glass cuvettes are suitable for visible-range work. The exact material is listed on each product page.
Which cuvette should I choose for my spectrophotometer?
Match the instrument's light beam height, the required path length (10 mm is standard), the wavelength range (UV vs. visible), and the sample volume. If you are unsure, email us your instrument model and we will recommend the correct cell.
What is the difference between quartz and glass cuvettes?
Quartz (fused silica) transmits UV light below 340 nm and is chemically more resistant, but costs more. Optical glass is fine for visible light (>340 nm) and is more economical. Use quartz for UV measurements.
Do you offer OEM or custom cuvettes?
Yes. We manufacture custom path lengths, window configurations, screw-cap versions and special shapes. Send your drawing or specification to sales@scuvette.com for a quotation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal (USD) for online orders, and bank transfer (T/T) for bulk or OEM orders. All site prices are in US dollars.
Do you ship internationally and how long does it take?
Yes, we ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, UPS and EMS. Delivery is typically 3–7 business days to North America and Europe, and 5–10 business days elsewhere.
How should I clean and store my cuvettes?
Rinse with distilled water after each use, and use mild detergent or diluted acid for stubborn residues. Avoid scratching the optical windows and store cuvettes in their protective case. See our
Cuvette Care Guide.
What is your return policy?
If an item arrives damaged or does not match its specification, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and we will repair, replace or refund it.
