Stoppered micro quartz cuvette, four-way (four polished windows), 10 mm optical path, 350-1750 µL by slit width (350 µL per mm). Japanese JGS1 fused silica, PTFE stopper, adhesive-bonded construction for neutral samples only, >80% / >83% transmittance, 200nm-2500nm, max operating temp <100°C. Ideal for fluorescence measurements.
Single-piece price, slit width does not affect price. Volume discounts available — contact us.
The same 4-Port stoppered micro cuvette body is offered in 10 variants (5 slit widths × 2 grades). This page lists 4 mm slit · 1400 µL · Ordinary.

The quartz body is inert, but the cement is not: strong acids, strong alkalis, HF and most organic solvents will attack the bond. For aggressive solvents, ask about our powder-fusion bonded cells.
1 mm slit = 350 µL, 2 mm = 700 µL, 3 mm = 1050 µL, 4 mm = 1400 µL, 5 mm = 1750 µL. The wider the slit, the larger the sample volume needed to fill the light path.
Each cuvette ships with a PTFE stopper and a plastic storage box (1 pc per box). The stopper prevents evaporation of volatile samples during measurement.

The 4 mm slit cell holds about 1400 µL. Sample volume scales with slit width at roughly 350 µL per mm of slit, so a wider slit needs proportionally more sample to fill the light path at the 10 mm optical path length.
This is the Ordinary version, listed at $80 per box (1 pc). Both versions share the same JGS1 fused silica body, 10 mm path length and PTFE stopper, and they differ in optical grade and price (the high transmission version is listed at $178 per box). Choose the High transmission version when your measurement is signal-limited – weak fluorescence or low concentration – and the Ordinary version for routine absorbance work.
The quartz body is inert, but the cell is adhesive-bonded (cemented), so strong acids, strong alkalis, HF and most organic solvents attack the bond. Restrict use to neutral samples. For aggressive solvents use a powder-fusion bonded cell such as our micro-1400 fusion cell.
Yes. Each cuvette ships with a PTFE stopper and a plastic storage box, 1 pc per box. The stopper closes the fill port so volatile samples do not evaporate during a measurement run. Cleaning and handling guidance is in our cuvette care guide.
