Brand: scuvette. φ40mmx0.5mm round plate cut from Japanese imported JGS1 synthetic fused silica. Transmission 200 nm – 2,500 nm, dimensional tolerance ±0.05 mm, surface quality 40-60 scratch-dig, continuous service up to 1100 °C. JGS1 is the Japanese designation for the highest-purity grade of synthetic fused silica, produced by vapor-phase hydrolysis. With metal impurities below 1 ppm and OH below 5 ppm it transmits from the deep UV (cut-off ≈ 200 nm) through the visible and into the near-IR to 2500 nm — the widest range of any common optical material. Plates are supplied clean-room packed and ready for spectroscopy or high-temperature use.
